My name is Amir Karaman, I was born and raised in a suburb outside of Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati for two years with a focus on Marketing. I moved to Los Angeles to attend the Fashion Institute of Merchandising and Design-shortly after a fashion eye wear company called "Illesteva" hired me as a part of their marketing team. I was quickly thrown into the organized chaos that is the fashion world partaking in photoshoots, supermodels, celebrities, and fashion week...it was an amazing life experience that taught me a lot about an insane industry and myself. After 1 year with the company I quit and moved back to Cincinnati to add a degree in journalism with the intension of using my photography portfolio + writing portfolio to work for a media outlet like Vice or Vox News.
